Dmitrijs Venskovics loses appeal against eight-year cocaine sentence

Dmitrijs Venskovics, 45, lost his Court of Appeal challenge to an eight-year sentence for cocaine possession for sale or supply.

He had pleaded guilty to possessing 36kg of cocaine at Stafffordstown, Donabate, on 24 April 2020; the court found no error in principle.

The case was recorded in February 2022.
