Desmond Coyle went on trial accused of murder at the Central Criminal Court, reported on 29 November 2018.

He denies murdering Calo Carpaci at Roches Row, Limerick, on 24 May 2017.

The prosecution said CCTV footage would track Coyle’s movements from Davis Street to Roches Row.

It was also alleged that footage would show him briefly entering Carpaci’s residence.

The trial continued before Mr Justice Michael White and a jury of seven men and five women.
