Deirdre Morley was found not guilty by reason of insanity of murdering her three children at the Central Criminal Court, reported on 20 May 2021.

The jury returned the special verdict on all three charges. Morley was committed to the Central Mental Hospital until 31 July, when the matter was due back before the courts for consideration of her future care.
