Debbie Paget’s €10,000 deception conviction appeal dismissed

The Court of Appeal dismissed Debbie Paget’s appeal against her conviction for dishonestly inducing James Byrne to give her €10,000 by deception.

A Dublin Circuit Criminal Court jury convicted her on that count; she was acquitted of a separate charge involving Maria Byrne.

The case was recorded in January 2024.
