Darren Houlden denies murder, pleads guilty to manslaughter

Darren Houlden, 44, pleaded not guilty to murdering Stephen Kavanagh and guilty to manslaughter at the Central Criminal Court.

The DPP did not accept the manslaughter plea, and a jury was sworn for a murder trial scheduled to start the following morning.
