This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Conrad Mason was sentenced to three years, with 18 months suspended, for theft and fraud at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 23 May 2017. He stole €908,652 from his employer, C&G Logistics Group, through 234 wrongful transactions between January 2010 and January 2015.

Mason, a former company director, pleaded guilty to 25 sample counts involving money transferred from the company account to his own bank accounts. The court was told he used the money to fund alcoholism and gambling addiction.

The suspended portion reflected his lack of previous convictions and cooperation with the Garda investigation.
