This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Colin Hammond pleaded guilty to making hoax bomb calls at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, reported on 31 July 2015.

The offence occurred at Bath Road on 13 January 2015, after calls prompted an Intel evacuation and closed the M4 motorway.

Judge Martin Nolan adjourned sentencing to October and indicated 200 hours of community service might replace two years in prison if Hammond was suitable.

The calls disrupted air traffic control, prevented thousands of Intel staff from entering, and caused an estimated 6,000 lost production hours.
