Benjamin Morrissey sentenced for serious harm and attempted robbery

Benjamin Morrissey, 20, pleaded guilty to intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm in Dublin 8 on 9 August 2020 and attempted robbery on O’Connell Street on 5 February 2021.

Judge Elma Sheahan imposed eight years’ imprisonment, suspending the final two years.

The case was recorded in March 2022.
