Ben Gilroy lost his injunction application in a defamation case on 1 February 2019. He had sought an order requiring Fiona O'Leary to remove a YouTube video which he claimed wrongly linked him to the use and promotion of MMS.
Ms O'Leary denied that the video was defamatory. Her lawyers told the court that she accepted Mr Gilroy was not involved with MMS.
Mr Justice Senan Allen said what the video might convey was a matter for a jury and that Mr Gilroy had not met the legal threshold for the injunction. The defamation case was adjourned to April.
