Andrew Jordan was fined €10,000 at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 5 November 2024 for failing to keep adequate accounting records.
The offences concerned the National Association of General Practitioners, which went into liquidation in 2019 owing more than €330,000 to creditors, prosecuting counsel Anne-Marie Lawlor SC told the court.
Jordan pleaded guilty to two counts. Judge Martin Nolan ordered him to pay €5,000 for each count within six months.
Judge Nolan noted that Jordan did not profit from the offences and that his involvement in the association had cost him money.
