Alan Harte, accused of murder, claimed at the Central Criminal Court on 3 April 2014 that prosecution witness Kastriot Boza killed Peter Gunn. The alleged killing occurred in Cabra Park, Cabra, on 4 January 2009.
Harte has pleaded not guilty. During cross-examination, his barrister suggested Boza killed Gunn after an argument about Gunn’s remarks concerning Boza being questioned over sexual assault. Boza denied the accusation and maintained that Harte stabbed Gunn. The trial continued before Mr Justice Patrick McCarthy and a jury.
