A 36-year-old man who cannot be named has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, reported on 22 November 2017.

The alleged assault was said to have happened in a car at a secluded area of University College Dublin, Belfield, on 23 July 2014. The woman told the jury that the man attacked her after they met through Tinder and arranged to meet in Dublin city centre.

The trial continued before Judge Cormac Quinn and a jury of six men and six women.
