Cavan brothers win Ireland's Young Filmmaker of the Year Awards

Brothers Liam and Fionne Barra Raymond from Cavan have both won top honours at Ireland's Young Filmmaker of the Year Awards (dubbed the 'Young Oscars'), held yesterday at Dublin's Mansion House. Liam, a student at Dundalk Institute of Technology, won the senior award for his quirky, Tim Burton-inspired film about a boy facing a mythological trial to save his dog and mother. His 12-year-old brother Fionne Barra won the junior award for his comedy superhero film 'Battle of Time' about two brothers with different powers.
