Write about a local problem
Choose a topic, fill in the brackets and review your draft. Your mail app opens when you press the email button; you send it yourself.
Check existing services with your Local Link office. Describe the journey you need rather than assuming a new route has been approved.
What to include when you write
- Your town and the public location of the problem.
- What happened, and when.
- The council or service you have already contacted.
- A public reference, if safe to share.
- The action or update you want.
What councillors can help with
Councillors can raise local roads, footpaths, lighting, council housing, planning policy, drainage, litter and other council-service concerns. Report the service problem to the council directly as well.
When to go to your TD instead
TDs deal with national laws, government policy and national services such as health, social welfare and passports. Use the responsible service’s own contact or complaint route first.
