Apartment block swapped for 10 detached houses at Athlone convent site

Bower Hall Limited wants to change plans for part of the Our Lady's Bower Convent site in Athlone. Instead of building 22 two-bed apartments on the old tennis courts, they now want to build 10 four-bed detached houses with attics across the same small area. The protected structure convent itself isn't being demolished—this is just an amendment to an earlier permission.
