Westmeath man to be sentenced for false imprisonment and attempted rape

A Westmeath man has pleaded guilty to the false imprisonment and attempted rape of a woman last year. The 27-year-old man, who cannot be named to protect the anonymity of the victim, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court, to four offences committed at a place in Westmeath between June 16 and
