Man admits Sligo manslaughter but denies murder
A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court for the trial of a 30-year-old man from Sligo charged with murder. Simon McGinley of Connaughton Road pleaded not guilty to the murder of Eugene Gillespie on September 22, 2012, but admitted manslaughter.
