Retired garda drops appeal over destruction order for dog who bit walker
An 85-year-old retired Garda from Strokestown, County Roscommon has withdrawn his High Court appeal against a destruction order for his Jack Russell terrier, Kim. The dog bit a woman on the Strokestown Famine Trail on 6 March 2022 near Mr Rogers' home at Bumlin. The injured party required eight stitches and hospital treatment following the incident.
