The Labour Court has upheld a decision rejecting Michael Donohoe’s unfair dismissal complaint against Interlink Ireland Limited T/A DPD Ireland, finding he ended his own employment. Its determination was dated 27 July 2022. Donohoe said he believed he could work until 70 and that DPD dismissed him. The company said he retired voluntarily after discussions with his manager. The Court found he had not proved that he was dismissed, so his appeal failed.
