The Labour Court upheld the decision against Dejan Glujic in his unfair dismissal appeal against DPM Property Services. The determination was signed on 9 April 2019.
Glujic said he was dismissed after entering an apartment with a master key; the company said he resigned. He had not attended the original WRC hearing, and the adjudication officer found against him for lack of prosecution.
At the appeal, the Court heard conflicting accounts about whether Glujic was dismissed or resigned. Because dismissal was disputed, he had to prove that one occurred. The Court was not convinced he had done so, and his appeal failed after he did not attend the WRC hearing; the merits were not decided.
