The Labour Court extended the deadline for Bobby Luiz, trading as Bombay Bazaar, to lodge an appeal in Goran Zoric’s unfair-dismissal case. In its determination dated 7 June 2017, the Court found that WRC hearing and decision notices had been sent to an unrelated Cork address, preventing Luiz from appealing in time. It allowed the appeal notice to be lodged up to 3 February 2017. The substantive appeal remains to be heard; the merits were not decided.
