The Labour Court found Barbara Coyle’s complaint about changes to her employment terms was not well founded and set aside the Adjudication Officer’s decision. The determination was dated 21 April 2021. Coyle said The Blackdog Communications Limited T/A Blackdog Communications changed her job title, pay interval, pension terms and expected weekly hours without notifying her in writing. The Court could not establish that her job title had changed. It did not decide whether the pay interval or pension terms changed because written notice was not yet due within one month of the alleged changes. The Court found the company had not changed her expected weekly hours, noting she continued to be paid for 37.5 hours a week.
