The Labour Court upheld Mairead Reilly’s appeal and ordered Drogheda Resource Centre Ltd to pay her €800 in compensation. The decision, dated 10 June 2019, overturned an Adjudication Officer’s finding that her complaint was not well founded. Reilly complained that the centre changed her working hours without giving her written notice. She said changes were made in February and April 2017. The centre accepted it had not given her written details of the changes within one month, and the Court found this breached section 5 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act.
