On Pawel Wojtowicz’s appeal, the Labour Court awarded him four weeks’ remuneration after finding The Grosvenor Cleaning Services Unlimited Company had to provide a fresh statement of employment terms for his second period of work. The determination was signed on 5 October 2017. Wojtowicz had signed a statement when he began working as a cleaning operative in 2005. He returned to work for the company in November 2008, but received no new statement. The Court said the company could not rely on the earlier document for the separate employment period. The award was calculated on a 30-hour week at €9.75 an hour.
