The Labour Court found Anord Electric Limited had not breached the Registered Employment Agreement for the Electrical Contracting Industry, in a decision dated 25 March 1993. The Technical Engineering And Electrical Union complained that the company failed to pay the correct basic and proficiency rates and apply proficiency pay as agreed. The parties accepted the company’s description of its work. The Court found the work was solely manufacturing and fell outside the agreement.
