The Labour Court upheld the decision that Ms Laisa Nadezda’s Payment of Wages complaint against Bidvest Noonan (ROI) Limited was statute-barred. The Court dated its determination 12 July 2022. Nadezda said her pay had not risen in line with Employment Regulation Order rates after Bidvest Noonan took over her employment contract. Her complaint, lodged on 4 May 2018, sought payments dating back to 1 December 2015. The Court held that it was out of time; the merits were not decided.
