Labour Court dismisses Sandor Fulpesi’s complaint against Meadow Court Bar & Restaurant Limited as out of time

The Labour Court dismissed Sandor Fulpesi’s complaint against Meadow Court Bar & Restaurant Limited as out of time and varied the Adjudication Officer’s decision. The determination was dated 7 October 2019. Fulpesi had alleged unpaid wages and other employment breaches. His representative attended the original hearing, but Fulpesi did not; the Adjudication Officer dismissed the complaints for want of prosecution. The Labour Court found that the complaints were lodged outside the time limit and that no extension had been sought. The Court said they were statute-barred; the merits were not decided.
