Labour Court sets aside €2,496.29 award to Niall Homan

The Labour Court set aside a €2,496.29 underpayment award to Niall Homan after upholding an appeal by his employer, Unique Diary Productions Ltd. The determination was dated 9 July 2018. Homan had claimed underpayment and unpaid expenses. The Court limited the claim to the period from 12 November 2016 to 1 January 2017 and refused his application to extend the time limit. His representative conceded no underpayment had occurred in that period and accepted that expenses were excluded from wages under the Act.
