Labour Court declines Mary McCormack’s late appeal against Aiseiri Limited

The Labour Court declined to hear Mary McCormack’s appeal against Aiseiri Limited because it was brought outside the statutory time limit. The Court dated its determination 30 May 2016. The Court found it had no jurisdiction to hear the appeal, and the merits were not decided. McCormack had appealed the Rights Commissioner’s findings under five employment laws, except for the recommendation under the Unfair Dismissals Act 1977.
