The Labour Court dismissed Mr Soans Joseph Francis’s appeal after he did not attend a hearing on 23 May 2024. The decision, dated 11 June 2024, upheld the Adjudication Officer’s finding that his complaint under the Property Services Regulation Act was not well founded. Mr Soans, a former Systems Development Specialist at Pramerica Systems Ireland, told the Court he could not attend and would only be available the following year. The Court explained how he could apply for a postponement, but he did not apply. The merits of the appeal were not decided.
