The Labour Court has upheld a decision rejecting Michael Donohoe’s minimum notice complaint against Interlink Ireland Limited T/A DPD Ireland. Its determination was dated 27 July 2022. Donohoe said he believed he could work until 70 and that the company dismissed him. DPD Ireland said he retired voluntarily. The Court found he ended his own employment, so an entitlement to minimum notice did not arise and his appeal failed.
