The Labour Court upheld a €4,635 award to Colm Mc Namee after Mountrath Amalgamated Cep Limited appealed his minimum notice complaint. The determination was dated 16 January 2020. Mc Namee had worked as a Community Employment Scheme Supervisor from June 2006. His employment ended on 12 October 2017 without statutory notice or pay in lieu. The Court found his complaint well founded and ordered the company to pay six weeks’ wages in lieu of notice, upholding the Adjudication Officer’s decision.
