Labour Court recommends three-year pay package for MSD Ireland workers

The Labour Court recommended pay increases totalling 7.5% over three years for workers at MSD Ireland represented by Connect: 2.5% from 1 January 2021, 2% from 1 January 2022 and 3% from 1 January 2023. The recommendation was signed on 2 June 2022. If accepted, it also provides a €500 per-person AVC pension contribution, eight hours’ pay for public holidays and a €300 tool bursary. Connect had sought a 9% increase over three years, while the employer had offered 6.5% and a €1,000 AVC payment.
