The Labour Court recommended that the Early Years' Service Joint Labour Committee adopt its majority position on pay rates for five roles. Seven JLC members shared that position and five did not. The recommendation was dated 13 May 2022. The proposed hourly rates are €14 for an Early Years Lead Educator, Room Leader or SAC co-ordinator; €15.50 for a Graduate Early Years Lead Educator, Room Leader or SAC; €15.70 for a Deputy Manager; €16.50 for a Manager; and €17.25 for a Graduate Manager.
