The Labour Court recommended against Henry Denny & Sons Ltd's claim by 100 General Operatives, represented by Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, to restore a 61-cent hourly pay gap with Team Leaders. The recommendation was signed on 27 April 2021. The union said Team Leaders received a €1.20 hourly increase in November 2019 and sought to have the difference restored, backdated to January 2020. The employer said no pay link had ever existed. The Court said it had no documents showing an agreed or established link and could not recommend concession of the union's claim.
