In 2021, the Labour Court recommended that Dublin Airport Authority start restoring the pay and hours of 133 Craft Workers after reducing them to 60% from October 2020. The reduction followed a breakdown in talks over new working arrangements during the Covid-19 crisis.

The Court said restoration would take four to six weeks because the fortnightly payroll was prepared in advance. It recommended four weeks of intensive talks with help from the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, starting no later than 29 March 2021, with unresolved issues referred back to the Court for a final determination. The recommendation was dated 22 March 2021.
