Labour Court recommends Limerick Institute incremental-credit dispute follow agreed process

The Labour Court recommended that Limerick Institute of Technology and Margaret O'Sullivan return an incremental-credit dispute to their agreed procedures. The recommendation was signed on 9 March 2021. The Teachers' Union of Ireland referred the matter unilaterally under section 20(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1969, although the parties’ agreed procedures did not include that route. The Court recommended they use those procedures, including a possible referral under section 26(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1990.
