The Labour Court recommended that Pinnacle Security meet with a security officer when he is fit to return, to discuss suitable roles or locations. The recommendation was signed on 10 February 2021. The Court found the client’s refusal to provide details of allegations against the worker prevented a proper investigation and resulted in a failure of due process. It said Pinnacle Security made serious efforts to obtain the information and could not be held responsible. The Court did not recommend compensation.
