Labour Court recommends staged pay rises for 30 Various Employees at Eps Group

The Labour Court recommended three staged pay increases for 30 Various Employees at Eps Group: 1.5% from 1 April 2019, 1.5% from 1 April 2020 and 2.5% from 1 April 2021. The recommendation was dated 29 January 2020 and followed a pay dispute referred by Connect Trade Union. The union said its members had taken a 10% pay cut in 2009 and received a 7% increase from 2014 to April 2019, with a further 2.5% proposed but not guaranteed over the following two years. Eps Group cited rising employment costs and changes affecting its biggest client, Irish Water.
