The Labour Court recommended pay rises for CHC Ireland’s 40 Pilots, along with changes to maternity pay and overtime, in a recommendation dated 4 October 2019. The Court recommended increases of 2.5% from May 2018, 2.85% from May 2019, 3% from May 2020 and 2.5% from May 2021. It also recommended maternity pay of 50% of salary for the first 12 weeks and overtime paid at the actual day rate. It recommended further discussions on rostering, loss-of-licence arrangements and pensions, and did not recommend additional pay scales for captains and senior first officers. The pilots were represented by Fórsa.
