Labour Court recommends Focus Ireland pay outstanding compensation balance

The Labour Court recommended that Focus Ireland pay F�Rsa members the outstanding balance of compensation for loss of earnings. The recommendation was signed on 27 May 2019. The union sought the outstanding compensation, saying members had received only six months’ compensation as a part payment. Focus Ireland said it had implemented what was agreed after conciliation, but accepted the union’s claim for 1.5 times the loss in principle. The Court recommended payment at that rate and noted that 0.5 times the loss had already been paid.
