Labour Court recommends one immediate increment for Sonas workers

The Labour Court recommended that Sonas Freedom From Domestic Abuse implement one increment immediately for its social care staff and that the parties jointly approach Tusla for funding. The dispute concerned restoring incremental credit for workers whose increments had been suspended in 2009. Forsa sought restored credit for pre-2009 staff and new credit for later hires. Sonas said it could not afford the increases without appropriate funding. The union modified its claim to seek one immediate increment and engagement on future increments.
