Labour Court urges UCD and modular staff to clarify workplace disputes

The Labour Court recommended that UCD and 10 Modular Staff re-engage locally to establish the facts behind disagreements over pay, pensions, overseas teaching access and job descriptions. The recommendation was signed on 4 February 2019. The Court found the parties had no shared understanding of the factual basis for the dispute, including pay arrangements and the pension claim related to holiday pay. It advised them to agree a job description before addressing job titles.
