The Labour Court recommended a phased pay settlement for G4S Cash Solutions staff, including higher entry rates for cash-in-transit and cash-processing roles and six 1.25% increases from January 2018 to July 2020. The recommendation was signed on 15 June 2018. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had sought annual increases and changes to new-entrant pay. G4S Cash Solutions said its proposals were fair and pointed to the company’s pay rates and benefits. For staff recruited since 2012, the Court recommended entry rates of €13.33 an hour for cash-in-transit and €11 an hour for cash-processing, with progression to €14 and €12 respectively. It also recommended that the union accept the company’s proposals on C licence upgrades and online payslips, and accept in principle its absence proposal, with details to be discussed.
