The Labour Court recommended that Dublin Bus and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and National Bus & Rail Union address driver-ratio calculations on a companywide basis. The unions said certain duties had been included in the calculations without agreement and that they should have been consulted before changes. Dublin Bus said it used the same methodology across its seven garages and that the issue could not be dealt with at Summerhill alone. The Court said the issue formed part of an agreement applied consistently across garages. Its recommendation was signed on 15 June 2018.
