The Labour Court recommended that a dispute involving the HSE and a worker over pension treatment of compensation for lost earnings be processed under the agreed procedure. The recommendation was signed on 25 April 2018. The worker, represented by PNA, had received two payments for lost earnings and said pension contributions were deducted. The HSE said the deductions resulted from a payroll coding error and had been refunded. The Court said it would not proceed in a way that colluded with a breach of the agreed procedure, and recommended that the case follow that procedure.
