The Labour Court recommended pay rises and a Saturday premium for workers represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union at Abp Ireland (Rathkeale). The recommendation was signed on 5 October 2017. It recommended a 1.5% gross salary increase from 1 January 2015, followed by 2% increases from 1 January 2016, 2017 and 2018. It also recommended a Saturday premium at time-and-a-half from acceptance. The increases included the buyout of the Time Bank. The union had sought a 10% increase for 2015 to 2017 and a time-and-a-half Saturday premium. The company had proposed 2% annual increases from 2016, a 1.4 Saturday premium and a €1,250 Time Bank buyout.
