Labour Court rejects worker’s appeal over HSE role

The Labour Court rejected a worker’s appeal over his claim to be regularised as Primary Care Director at the Health Service Executive (Dublin North East), a role he said he had performed since 2007. In a decision signed on 29 June 2017, the Court upheld the Adjudication Officer’s recommendation against the claim. It said the worker had already used the agreed appeals procedure under Circular 17/2013, whose outcome was binding on the parties.
