The Labour Court recommended that Abbvie put arrangements in place for collective representation of SIPTU Members by the union on pay and other employment terms. The recommendation was signed on 26 June 2017. SIPTU Members sought individual representation in grievance and disciplinary matters as well as collective representation on pay and employment terms. The employer was notified of the hearing but did not attend.
