The Labour Court recommended that South Infirmary-Victoria University Hospital pay a worker €13,500 in full and final settlement of an incremental-credit claim. The recommendation was signed on 26 June 2017. The worker, represented by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, said the hospital had failed to credit her previous service when she returned to work in 2009. The Court said the issue crystallised in 2012, when she was first told her incremental placing and salary point, and concluded that equity required the claim to be addressed.
